This month, our general meeting will be held on zoom and we will visit three Stratford businesses run by young women who took a leap of faith to share their passion with members of our community.

Elsa Fahraeus (right) is the owner of Illume Wellness Spa, a certified green therapeutic spa located at 36 Ontario Street, in the heart of downtown Stratford. Elsa was inspired by her Scandinavian heritage and experience in the beauty industry.  All treatments offered focus on the rejuvenation of body and mind.

Renée Dijk (centre), a Registered Kinesiologist, is the owner Ritual Studio and co-owner of Collective Wellness. Her history as a competitive swimmer set her up for a lifetime of loving movement and exercise. Ritual Studio is a boutique movement studio offering small classes (yoga, spin, strength) as well as one on one or small group client sessions with a Kinesiologist or personal trainer.  Collective Wellness, a business she co-owns with Paige Holdsworth, regroups independent health practitioners including two registered massage therapists, an Osteopath, her studio and a medical aesthetician.

Alondra Galvez (left), owner and chef of El Cactus Taco Shop, was born and spent her childhood in Reynosa, Mexico. El Cactus Taco Shop is Alondra’s love letter to her grandmother. Through her experience as a classically trained chef, Alondra expresses her culture through food, using the ingredients of her childhood and recipes that have been passed down for generations. With love and intention, Alondra brings a unique and playful street food experience to Stratford.

If you are a woman but not a member of CFUW Stratford who would like to attend this meeting, please email cfuwstratford@gmail.com and you will receive a link to the meeting a few days prior to the event.
