Canadian Federation of University Women Stratford and members of Stratford city council will commemorate the massacre of 14 engineering students at École Polytechnique during a ceremony on Wednesday, December 6 at city hall.

The flag at the front of city hall will be lowered to half mast. It was on that date in Montreal in 1989 when 14 women were murdered, another 10 women and four men injured, by Marc Lépine.

Please join us to raise awareness – Wednesday  Dec 6 at 8:25 am in front of City Hall for the 8:30 lowering of the flag in memory of the massacre of 14 female engineering students at L’École Polytechnique  in 1989.

Wear something purple if possible.

CFUW Stratford members will distribute white ribbons to wear.

All 3 of Stratford’s newspapers will be there.

You don’t have to smile for the camera.
