Patsy Day

Patsy Day, Turtle Clan, Oneida Nation, survived the Sixties Scoop and was adopted by a non-native family. Despite many hardships, she reunited in her late thirties with her birth family. She learned about her Haudenosaunee/People of the Longhouse Woodland culture, learned the language, and earned a Master of Education degree focusing on Indigenous curriculum development. She has taught for many years working with three different district school boards and gives presentations and workshops throughout Southwestern Ontario.
