Thursday, September 30 is National Truth and Reconciliation Day more popularly known as Orange Shirt Day. Please come to a Fire Ceremony beginning about 4:30 p.m. at the Falstaff Family Centre 35 Waterloo Street. The actual ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. with Greetings and a Land Acknowledgement. Winona Sands will tell the Orange Shirt Story followed by S.P. Lyons speaking on Truth and Reconciliation. Orange shirts may be available (cash only). Dress warmly and bring a chair.

Also, you and your family can meet and greet the Ojibway Spirit Horses with stations set up for Smudging, Medicine Wheel teachings, The Creation Story – also at the Falstaff Family Centre, Saturday, September 25 from 1 to 3 p.m.
