CFUW Climate Change Group finished their Plastic-Free April project finished with a bang with our participation in the Stratford Earth Day Street Party. The Plastic-Free campaign was based on the worldwide concern over the effects of plastic on our environment and ways of reducing plastic use through alternatives. In addition to the much-admired table at the Earth Day Street Party, they developed a webpage to inform the greater public about plastic alternatives. The committee has vowed to maintain their Plastic-Free campaign all year.
