Dianne Godkin
Dianne Godkin, PhD, is the Director of the Regional Ethics Program at Trillium Health Partners, Mississauga. Her education includes an undergraduate degree in nursing from Western, masters and doctoral degrees in nursing from the University of Alberta and a post-graduate clinical ethics fellowship from the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics. She is currently an adjunct lecturer with the Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto and an Investigator with the Institute for Better Health. She is a Past President of the Canadian Bioethics Society. Her research interests include the use of qualitative methods to explore end-of-life decision-making, medical assistance in dying, and advance care planning. She is the author of a book based on her dissertation entitled Living Will, Living Well.
