Members and guests of CFUW-Stratford Club enjoyed a lively meeting on Tuesday, September 26th. The Scholarship committee presented the award for a mature student to Laura Boydell. Laura recently completed her secondary school diploma through Conestoga College. Our guest speaker was Hira Javed. Hira is one of the first students to graduate from the Master of Digital Experience Innovation program offered at University of Waterloo’s Stratford Campus. Hira discussed the manner in which the internet has affected the lives of Muslim women living in the Middle East.
